About Michelle Robinson

Michelle Robinson is a native of Atlanta, Georgia who came to the left coast after falling in love with California, but loves to travel and learn about new places. As most artists would agree she has been studying all her life, but most formally at the University of Georgia, where she graduated with a BS Ed.

Drawing -- from the humble Bic pen to charcoal, marker, and pencil -- is her medium of choice, although she also paints and works with ink. Much of her work has depended upon the influences of a nomadic and cumulonimbus sort of life.

She varies widely in material and method because the pieces/parts make the best art. She guesses that makes her a folk artist of a sort, and she kind of likes that idea…
